Supporting and advocating for children in juvenile courts.
The National Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Association has more than 93,000 volunteers nationwide, serving in 49 states and the District of Columbia. They are among the most respected and effective organizations serving abused and neglected children. Georgia CASA is regarded as one of its largest and most effective chapters, with a statewide network of affiliates that rely on devoted, trained volunteers who earn the trust of the children they serve.
THE CHALLENGE
Good Thinking was invited to create a series of promotional films highlighting the work and rewards of becoming a Georgia CASA volunteer. The goal: to advance recruitment and drive up the numbers of trained and active volunteers to serve the children who need but do not have an advocate. The message of this campaign was simple: in giving to these children, the volunteer gains much.
THE OUTCOME
Recruitment data interrupted by COVID-19 in Spring 2020.
Supporting and advocating for children in juvenile courts.
